Allergy sufferers can now breathe deeply. The new FreciousComfort air filter series for HVAC systems not only handles fine dust with an efficiency of ePM1 50% to ePM1 60%. Thanks to anti-allergenic and anti-microbial functions, it also blocks free allergens and inhibits the growth of mold and bacteria. This reduces allergic reactions and increases the well-being of people indoors. 

A series with additional odour and gas adsorption, FreciousComfort Carboactiv is currently in preparation.

Anti-allergenic - Polyphenol inactivates free allergens

The anti-allergenic function is achieved by a coating of polyphenol. This natural substance binds more than 95% of free allergens and makes them harmless. Free allergens are the smallest protein particles and the actual triggers of allergic reactions. They are released when pollen bursts due to mechanical stress when it hits the filter.

Anti-microbial - protection against bacteria and moulds

In conventional filter media mold and bacterial growth can occur. Reasons: Filters retain a very high number of airborne germs and microorganisms. The combination with other dirt particles and moisture promotes growth. 

The antimicrobial coating prevents such growth as an effective barrier. This keeps the clean side of the filter really clean.
